Dala Resources LLC (“Dalares”) is a Kazakhstan-based private mineral exploration company developing lithium projects in Eastern Kazakhstan targeting to becoming one of the key lithium market players to securely supply the battery metals to the global market.
Dalares holds three exploration licenses for Kene and Bayash lithium tenements with extensive license term to allow taking Kene and Bayash projects to development:
In 2024, Dala Resources discovered a large zone of continuous lithium mineralization spanning an area of 600,000 m2 (Kene property) with estimated lithium resources of 490,000 tonnes of Li2O. There is a significant lithium resource upside for 200,000 tonnes Li2O at Bayash property.
The Project consists of two LCT pegmatite fields – Kene LCT pegmatites and Bayash LCT pegmatites.
DALARES has a team of experienced geologists, mining and GIS engineers as well as finance, legal and marketing professionals who have been developing the Project since 2019 and have made significant progress in confirmation of the lithium resource.
Project development plan
Dalares plans to undertake the follow-on exploration program in three consecutive phases:
Phase 1 – Scoping study / Lithium resource estimation at Kene Central area
Timeline: March 2025 – February 2026
Expected result: Indicated Resources estimation at Kene Central covering the area of 100,000 m2.
Phase 2 – Pre-feasibility study / Upgrade of lithium resource estimation to Measured resource category.
Timeline: March 2026 – February 2028
Expected result: Defining the options for further technological and economic development of the Project. Conversion (partial) of Indicated and Measured resources into Probable reserve category.
Phase 3 – Bankable Feasibility Study
Timeline: March 2028 – February 2030
Expected result: Defining an economically feasible scenario for lithium project development.
